Our mission is to connect teens of all backgrounds with opportunities to engage in arts, science, and culture.
Monthly
Meetings
Council Members meet on the third Sunday of every month to discuss and support the goals and efforts of SCFD. These meetings take place at various SCFD Organizations throughout Colorado!
Teens Behind the Scenes
Members of the Teen Council get to undergo tons of Behind-The-Scenes experiences and tours! Each Organization we visit has so much to offer, and we're working towards brining these exclusive experiences to other Teens throughout Colorado through our "Teens Behind the Scenes" program.
Volunteer Oppertunities
During our Volunteer months, Council Members get to experience all that SCFD has to offer first-hand! From handing out candy at Denver Zoo's "Boo at the Zoo" to Ushering at Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Theater, there are so many different opportunities!
Community Service and Volunteer Hours
The SCFD Teen Council is a fun, beneficial way for teens to earn the Volunteer and Community Service hours required to graduate Colorado schools!

and Life Skills
The Teen Council provides many opportunities to learn important skills for your future. Whether it be leadership, communication, or buisness skills, we give everyone a chance to lead the way!
